The staff was really helpful, wanted to make our stay very nice! Location: the hotel was next to a hill that offers great views of the beach and surrounding forest, and the restaurants and warungs. In the evening we went to Meru Restaurant, located at walking distance from the property.

The value for money at this hidden gem in Lombok is amazing; the rooms are perfect and the ocean view is breathtaking. The location is great and just a 5-minute bike ride from Senggigi. The staff, especially Maya the owner, provides excellent service and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The pool is lovely and the entire villa feels like it's just for you.
Breakfast delights could be improved with more variety.

The hotel's decor was truly enchanting, with its elegant furnishings and cozy ambiance. The common areas were thoughtfully designed, offering ample seating and easy access for senior guests. It was a pleasure to leisurely explore the beautifully adorned premises, enjoying the lovely views and basking in the peaceful atmosphere.
If I were to suggest an improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be beneficial to have larger font sizes and clearer signage within the hotel. This small adjustment would greatly assist those with vision impairments, ensuring they can navigate the premises without any difficulties.

The rooms at Sunset Lavinia are absolutely fabulous! I loved having my own private terrace or balcony with stunning views of the pool, sea, and sunset. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the area. As a budget traveller, this was definitely a treat!
Personally, I found the ceiling fan in the air-conditioned rooms a bit noisy. However, I understand that others might still enjoy the additional cooling option it provides.

My stay at Sunset Lavinia was nothing short of fabulous! As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owners, Dave and Maya. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, helping me plan my itinerary and even offering to switch me to a more suitable room. Their attention to detail and genuine care made me feel like part of the family.
While there were a couple of minor issues, such as a bad smell in the bathroom and inconsistent room cleaning, they did not detract from the overall experience. The hotel is also a bit off the main road, making it slightly inconvenient to reach local shops, but the available taxi service solved that problem.

The location of the hotel, a bit away from the center of Senggigi, offers wonderful views of the surrounding area, including magnificent sunsets. Additionally, the owners, Maya and Dave, go above and beyond to assist with planning and reservations, ensuring a hassle-free stay.
One minor drawback is that the hotel is a bit far from the Senggigi center, requiring either a one-hour walk or a taxi ride to get there.

I was truly impressed by the beautiful and cozy ambiance of the hotel. The decoration had a charming and elegant touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were immaculately maintained, making it easy for me to move around and relax. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with well-lit pathways and handrails in strategic locations, ensuring my safety and comfort throughout my stay.
I would have loved if the children working there had a little more training in assisting senior guests.
